The Central Ohio High School Sports Awards show is part of the USA Today High School Sports Awards program, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country. Each athlete will receive one free ticket to the show, and additional tickets can be purchased at /events/register/central-ohio-high-school-sports-awards. Nominated athletes need to register for the show at /centralohio. Former Dublin Coffman, Notre Dame and NFL quarterback Brady Quinn will be the guest speaker. In addition, $63,000 in scholarships will be awarded thanks to Encova Insurance and the Warren B. ![]() Also during the show, we’ll reveal the overall Boys Athlete of the Year, Girls Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Boys Team of the Year and Girls Team of the Year for 2022-23. Each honoree is a finalist to be named Athlete of the Year in their sport. Thursday, June 15, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.Īthletes from 30 sports will be honored at the show, which is presented by Encova Insurance and produced with the support of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. But time is short in the spring, so we’re announcing the selections from those sports in one story to give them time to register for the live show at 7 p.m. In the fall and winter, we reveal the honorees for the Central Ohio High School Sports Awards one sport at a time.
